# Tangent Equations Solver

An online calculator and solver for tangent equations of the form $\tan(x) = a$ is presented.
The Equations has the form $\tan(x) = a$
whose solution is given by
$x = \arctan(x)$
The solutions are given in radians and degrees.
The $\tan(x) = a$ equation has an infinite number of solutions. Hence, the calculator gives the solution in the intervals: $(-\dfrac{\pi}{2} , \dfrac{\pi}{2} )$ and $(-90^{\circ} , 90^{\circ} )$ and then add a multiple of $\pi$ and $180^{\circ}$
